A reputable company is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, qualified, and hardworking individual for the position of Bakery Assistant. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace while ensuring high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will assist with baking, packaging products for sale, and managing inventory. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

       i.          The candidate will assist in the daily production of various baked goods.

     ii.          The candidate will be responsible for maintaining food safety & sanitation standards for a clean and organized environment.

    iii.          The candidate will maintain proper storage of baked products, ensuring products are sold in appropriate batches.

   iv.          The candidate will package baked products that are ready for sale.

     v.          The candidate will be responsible for tracking and reporting on stock levels for both baking and packaging supplies daily.

   vi.          The candidate will coordinate the movement of products from the bakery to packaging.

  vii.          The candidate must ensure client orders for production and delivery.

viii.          The candidate will be responsible for performing any other duties as assigned.

Qualification

       i.          Proven experience as a bakery assistant or similar role.

     ii.          WASSCE certificate or a catering course certificate 2 will be an added advantage.

    iii.          Prior experience in a bakery or food business is a plus.

   iv.          To work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

     v.          Good organization skills.

   vi.          Pleasant disposition.

  vii.          Ability to pay attention to detail.

viii.          Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
