A reputable hotel is seeking qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of a Hotel Manager. The ideal candidate should be able to oversee the daily operations of the hotel and safari, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance and administrative functions. As follows are the requirements and qualification for the position;

Requirements

·       Candidate will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, safari, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance and administrative functions.

·       Candidate must ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by handling guest inquiries and complaints, and fostering a welcoming environment.

·       Candidate will recruit and supervise hotel staff, conducting regular performance reviews and provide training where necessary

·       Candidate will develop and manage budgets and implement cost-saving measures.

·       Candidate will prepare financial reports and ensure profitability

·       Candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies to attract guests.

·       Candidate will work with the sales team to promote the hotel safari and identy new business opportunities

·       Candidate must ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies and quality standards; inspecting facilities and equipment regularly

·       Candidate will oversee the planning and execution of events and functions held at the hotel

·       Candidate must establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best quality and prices for hotel supplies and services

·       Candidate will contribute to the strategic direction of the hotel, including the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hotel Management or a similar role, preferably in a safari or resort setting.

·       Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite

·       Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting

·       Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

·       Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend and holidays

·       Knowledge of local hospitality industry and customer service standards
