About the Role
A leading professional services firm is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in Ghana.
This role is ideal for a commercially savvy professional with strong networks and a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term client relationships across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive client acquisition across corporate, public sector, and development organisations
- Identify and convert high-value business opportunities
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → closure
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build strategic relationships with senior decision-makers
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
3. Market Expansion & Intelligence
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop sector-specific strategies to drive growth
- Build and maintain a robust database of prospects
4. Proposals & Deal Execution
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations
- Participate in bids, tenders, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate internally to ensure seamless service delivery
5. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with internal teams to align client needs with solutions
- Track performance metrics and report on sales activities
- Maintain accurate pipeline and client records
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in business development, sales, or consulting
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience selling professional or corporate services is an advantage
