Position Overview:
WeLearn Ghana is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead a change project in the sales of a new product. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a bringing their own team of two extra sales officers, with the goal of expanding our reach in Ghana and across Africa. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing organization and make a significant impact on communities in need.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to introduce and promote the product.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and penetrate new markets, forging partnerships and securing sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product integration and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Continuously assess and optimize sales processes to drive efficiency and maximize results.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the beauty and cosmetics sector.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for social impact.
- Willingness to travel within Ghana and potentially across Africa as the role expands.
