Role Description.
We are seeking a Finance & Administrative Manager to lead all financial and administrative operations. The ideal candidate brings financial expertise, operational discipline, and strong leadership, ensuring accurate reporting, sound controls, forward-looking planning, and smooth administrative systems within a dynamic, mission-led tech environment..
Essential Job Functions.
i. As a Finance & Administrative Manager, you will:
ii. Lead the full budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycle for the organisation.
iii. Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports aligned with GAAP/IFRS.
iv. Monitor expenditure, perform variance analysis, and provide clear, actionable insights to leadership.
v. Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
vi. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely reconciliations, documentation, and audits.
vii. Manage administrative functions including procurement, facilities, vendor coordination, and asset management.
viii. Support HR-related processes such as onboarding, payroll validation, and compliance documentation.
ix. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and administrative team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high performance.
x. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance for operations, production, and strategic projects.
xi. Serve as the primary liaison with auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.
Qualification and Experience.
i. To succeed in this role, you will need:
ii. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
iii. A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is advantageous.
iv. Must be a Certified Chartered Accountant (e.g., ICAG, ACCA, or an international
v. equivalent).
vi. Must have 5- 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills.
i. Proficiency with financial systems (QuickBooks, Zoho Billing, SAP, or similar ERP).
ii. Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
iii. Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
iv. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
