Aldrich Care Solutions is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of a Home Care Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a home environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. The successful candidate must have completed an accredited nursing program. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

Responsibilities

       i.          Provide direct patient care in a home environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

     ii.          Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.

    iii.          Monitor and document vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.

   iv.          Accurately administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.

     v.          Perform personal hygiene, wound care, and diagnostic support procedures per standard protocols.

   vi.          Initiate and manage IV therapy, monitor infusion flow rates, change dressings, and discontinue IVs and blood products as needed.

  vii.          Respond promptly to emergencies (e.g., choking, CPR, fire) and provide appropriate support.

viii.          Observe patients and report significant changes in condition to the supervising RN or physician.

   ix.          Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and health management practices.

     x.          Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of all patient care activities.

   xi.          Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to implement personalized care plans.

  xii.          Uphold professional nursing standards and participate in ongoing training and development

Qualification

       i.          Completion of an accredited nursing program.

     ii.          Valid nursing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.

    iii.          Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home care or community health settings.

   iv.          Current CPR and First Aid certification.

     v.          Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

   vi.          Compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.

  vii.          Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently.

viii.          Proficiency in documenting care and using digital record-keeping systems is an advantage.

   ix.          Must be comfortable working in varied home environments and traveling within assigned areas.
