Fortress Ghana is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for the position of an Accountant. The ideal candidate will prepare and maintain accurate financial statements. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Ghana tax laws and GFZA regulations. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Job Description
i. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
ii. Ensure compliance with GFZA, GRA, and statutory tax reporting requirements.
iii. Manage costing, inventory valuation, and production expense analysis.
iv. Oversee cash flow, banking transactions, and foreign currency payments.
v. Support external and internal audits; maintain effective internal controls.
vi. Liaise with customs and regulatory bodies for Free Zone compliance.
Qualification, Skills & Experience
i. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
ii. Professional qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)is an advantage.
iii. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing/export
iv. Strong knowledge of Ghana tax laws and GFZA regulations.
v. Proficiency in accounting/ERP software.
vi. Strong analytical and communication skills; high integrity.
