innovative and secure financial solutions. We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team and support our robust IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operations.

 Job Description:

The System Administrator will manage, monitor, and secure CoreNett’s IT infrastructure. This includes managing cloud services, virtual private networks (VPNs), application performance, and security. Additionally, the System Administrator will manage and support various operating systems, ensuring compatibility, stability, and security across platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), network security, system monitoring, and expertise in managing multiple operating systems.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Cloud Management:

       i.          Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and cost efficiency.

     ii.          Deploy and maintain cloud resources (e.g., EC2 instances, S3, RDS, etc.) based on company needs.

    iii.          Implement best practices for cloud resource security and management.

Network Administration:

       i.          Configure, manage, and monitor VPN connections for secure and efficient remote access.

     ii.          Ensure network security through firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and regular monitoring.

    iii.          Oversee LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring connectivity, stability, and performance

System Security:

       i.          Implement and manage security policies, access controls, and data protection protocols.

     ii.          Regularly update and patch systems to protect against vulnerabilities.

    iii.          Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance with security standards.

Operating System Management:

       i.          Install, configure, and maintain various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

     ii.          Ensure cross-platform compatibility, stability, and security.

    iii.          Troubleshoot OS-specific issues and optimize performance across all Platforms.

Application and System Monitoring:

       i.          Set up and maintain application monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.

     ii.          Proactively monitor system health and performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

    iii.          Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies, ensuring minimal downtime in case of system failures.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

       i.          Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and log management.

     ii.          Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.

    iii.          Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

      i.          Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

     ii.          Generate regular reports on system performance, security, and uptime.

 Requirements:

       i.          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

     ii.          Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

    iii.          Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud management.

   iv.          Proficiency in VPN configuration, network security, and firewall management.

     v.          Experience with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

   vi.          Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Nagios, or equivalent).

  vii.          Hands-on experience with system and application security, including access control and data protection.

viii.          Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

   ix.          Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

     x.          Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or Security+) are a plus.
