Job Summary

We are seeking a nurturing, creative, and patient Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth of children.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with early learning standards.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children's development and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and classroom events.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all children, adhering to licensing regulations and school policies.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff on school-wide initiatives and events.

Qualifications:

  • NNTTC/ Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood.
  • Jolly Phonics and Montessori trained
  • 2yrs experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • The candidate must be a resident of Pokuase, Ofanko, Asofan, or Odumase Ablekuma.
