Newgas is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of LPG Cylinder Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing LPG systems and cylinders. The role also involves working with customers to ensure that their LPG equipment is installed safely and efficiently. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Connect LPG lines or hoses, regulators and other components to ensure a safe and functional system.

·       Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of LPG systems which involve checking for leaks, inspecting valves and regulators and replacing worn-out components.

·       Diagnose and repair any reported issues or malfunctions in LPG installations. This can include fixing leaks, replacing faulty valves or regulators, and addressing any other problems that may arise.

·       Ensure that LPG systems and installations comply with safety standards and regulations.

·       Interact with customers to address their concerns and provide information about the safe use and maintenance of LPG systems.

·       Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.

·       Provide training to customers or other personnel on the safe use and maintenance of LPG systems.

Role Requirements:

·       Must have at least an HND in Mechanical Engineering

·       Must live in Accra / Tema

·       Must have a good interpersonal relationship

·       Good communication skills

·       Must be willing to learn

·       Analytical and problem-solving

·       A minimum of two years’ work experience in a similar role
