Eat by Zoe is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of Stores Officer. The successful candidate will receive and verify incoming goods and ensure proper documentation. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       Receive and verify incoming goods and ensure proper documentation (delivery notes, invoices, etc.).

·       Record and update stock levels accurately in the store/warehouse system.

·       Organise and store goods properly, ensuring items are safe, labelled and easy to locate.

·       Issue items to departments as requested and maintain an accurate stock record.

·       Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with records to detect any discrepancies.

·       Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).

·       Report low stock levels and stock shortages to the management team.

·       Maintain a clean and safe store environment in line with company standards.

·       Work closely with the procurement and production teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

·       Minimum of 2 years' experience in a stores/warehouse or inventory role (preferably in the food or hospitality industry).

·       Degree or higher.

·       Good numerical and record-keeping skills.

·       Attention to detail and organisational skills.

·       Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

·       Knowledge of inventory management systems is an added advantage.
