Klimovic Memorial Hospital is seeking the services of a detail-oriented, qualified, highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in patient care and also lead the vetting department for claims management, ensuring accurate and efficient claims processing. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examination. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position for the position of a Physician Assistant.
Responsibilities:
· The candidate will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
· The candidate will diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, collaborating with supervising physicians to develop treatment plans.
· The candidate will be responsible for ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as laboratory investigations and imaging studies.
· The candidate will be performing medical procedures within the PA’s scope of practice.
· The candidate will be responsible for educating patients on preventive care, treatment adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
· The candidate will assist in surgical procedures as needed.
· The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
· The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
· The candidate will lead the vetting department for claims management, overseeing the review and approval of medical claims to ensure compliance with hospital policies and insurance requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
· Certification: Must be a licensed Physician Assistant in Ghana.
· Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of working experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
