About the Role

We’re looking for an Internal Auditor to act as the independent financial check for Nami. You will monitor, track, and reconcile all financial activity across branches, ensuring compliance with SOPs and flagging discrepancies. You will not make financial decisions, but your work will give the Founder and Finance Lead confidence that the business is secure and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

·       Reconcile daily inflows/outflows across all locations

·       Perform regular internal audits, including cash, payroll, vendor payments, and petty cash

·       Conduct spot checks and verify compliance with financial policies and SOPs

·       Track unresolved discrepancies and follow up until resolved

·       Prepare weekly and monthly audit reports highlighting risks, errors, and recommendations

·       Collaborate with Finance Lead to ensure accurate financial documentation

·       Recommend improvements to processes to prevent leakage or errors

What Success Looks Like

·       All transactions verified and reconciled accurately

·       Timely identification of errors, discrepancies, or policy breaches

·       Finance Lead and Founder confident in reported numbers

·       Internal controls fully enforced and documented

Requirements

·       3+ years experience in auditing, accounting, or finance operations

·       Excellent attention to detail and process-oriented

·       Strong Excel / Google Sheets / Notion skills

·       Experience in retail, service, or multi-branch businesses preferred

·       Independent, trustworthy, and assertive when flagging discrepancies

·       Able to communicate clearly with Finance Lead, Ops, and Founder

Bonus

·       Knowledge of internal control frameworks

·       Familiarity with payroll and POS systems
