JOB PURPOSE 

The Office Cafeteria & Catering Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office cafeteria, ensuring a clean, organised, and well-stocked environment. The role supports internal catering needs for meetings, training sessions, and organisational events, ensuring timely coordination and high-quality food service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Cafeteria Management

       i.          Oversee daily operations of the office cafeteria, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness.

     ii.          Ensure food, beverages, and cafeteria supplies are replenished on time.

    iii.          Monitor cafeteria equipment and report any faults for repair or replacement.

   iv.          Maintain stock records and notify management for procurement of food items, consumables, and supplies.

     v.          Enforce hygiene and safety standards in line with organisational and environmental regulations.

   vi.          Supervise cleanliness and maintenance activities within the cafeteria space.

Catering Coordination & Support

       i.          Assist in planning and coordinating catering services for internal training sessions, meetings, and organisation-wide events.

     ii.          Liaise with catering vendors to arrange meal options, snacks, and refreshments for training and special events.

    iii.          Ensure timely setup of catering stations, serving areas, and refreshment tables during sessions.

   iv.          Monitor food quality, quantity, and presentation to meet organisational standards.

     v.          Collect feedback from departments to improve catering services.

   vi.          Ensure proper clearing and cleaning after events, restoring venues to original condition.

Beverage & Bartending Support (for Events)

       i.          Prepare and serve beverages—including juices, mocktails, and basic cocktails—during internal events and functions.

     ii.          Ensure responsible service of beverages, following organisational hospitality guidelines.

    iii.          Maintain cleanliness and organisation of beverage stations and bar setups.

   iv.          Manage glassware, garnishes, mixers, and bar tools for smooth operations.

     v.          Provide friendly beverage service and engage professionally with staff and guests.

   vi.          Monitor stock levels for beverages and assist in replenishment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

       i.          Senior High School Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Catering, or related field.

     ii.          Additional training in hospitality management or food service operations is an advantage

    iii.          Hands on experience is a plus
