About the Role
A reputable organization in Labone is seeking a Finance Assistant to support its Finance Department in managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and reliable, with a solid grasp of basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
i. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and periodic reports.
ii. Record and process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.
iii. Maintain proper filing of financial records and supporting documentation.
iv. Reconcile bank accounts and other financial ledgers regularly.
v. Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
vi. Assist with payroll processing and statutory payments (e.g., SSNIT, PAYE, taxes).
vii. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
viii. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the finance team.
Qualifications & Requirements
i. Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ii. Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in a finance or accounting role.
iii. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or Sage).
iv. Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
v. Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
vi. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Salary Range: GHC 4,000 – 5,000
